The 18th Contracting Squadron teamed up with the Society of American Military Engineers Japan Post to host this year's Okinawa Vendor Symposium at Kadena Air Base, Japan, on March 4, 2026. The symposium drew in 48 businesses from Okinawa who were eager to learn about U.S. government contracting opportunities. It was a great chance for these companies to connect with command teams, resource advisors, government purchase card holders, requirement owners and contracting offices.
