The long-awaited Japan Industry Forum is returning this fall and sponsored by the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) Japan Post!
この度、SAMEジャパン主催のインダストリーフォーラムを開催する運びとなりました。

WHERE? --> The New Sanno Hotel in Minato-ku, Tokyo.
The registration form gathers the information we need from everyone who plans to attend and gain entrance at the hotel’s security gate. This is an official US military installation.
For those who need information on hotels in the area, let us know (contact@samejapan.org) and we’ll e-mail you a flyer that the host hotel provided us.
For those personnel who normally have access to this military run hotel, there is a small block of rooms available that you can reserve, first-come first served until gone. Refer to our notes of interest at the end for more info.

ホームページでお申込の際は必要事項を正確にご記入ください。ホテルのセキュリティゲートで入場を許可するために事務局が米軍に提出する情報です。また、入場の際は写真付身分証明書（運転免許証又はマイナンバーカード）の提示が必要となります。ご提示できない場合はご入場をお断りする場合がございますのでお忘れのないようお願いいたします。
周辺のホテル情報が必要な方は、メール（contact@samejapan.org）で事務局までお問合せください。ニューサンノーホテルが用意したチラシをメールでお送りします。

COVID-19 – Mitigation measures during the event will be in place based on rules at the New Sanno and the situation in Japan at that time. Guests who are feeling ill are asked not to attend.
Japan Border Restrictions – For those coming from the USA and who do not have SOFA status, we do not know what the status of Japan’s border restrictions will be in October.
Hotels – Contact the New Sanno hotel (https://www.thenewsanno.com/) or us (contact@samejapan.org) if you would like a list of nearby hotels.
Transportation – Recommend all patrons take public transportation (train, subway, taxi, etc).
Parking – Do not plan to park at the New Sanno unless you have rooms there as well (however even then, parking is limited and on a first-come-first-served basis).
-- Alternate parking for military ID holders can be found at Hardy Barracks which is within walking distance (2km).
-- Coin parking lots exist in the area but cannot be reserved.

-- Our rooms blocked for eligible patrons must be reserved NLT 15 August. After that the room block expires.
-- You need to write to us (contact@samejapan.org) to get group reservation code.
-- The hotel does maintain waiting lists if all rooms are full, and this waiting list is dynamic.
-- Hardy Barracks, a US installation within walking distance (2km), may also have rooms available.
-- Eligibility to contract rooms is governed by the Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA) -- Namely active-duty US military or their dependent, US military retiree, or a DoD contractor on SOFA status stationed in Japan. If you are unsure about status, please contact the New Sanno hotel.
