The Stars and Stripes has been publishing in the Pacific for over 80 years, having launched its first Pacific edition on May 14, 1945, in Honolulu, Hawaii. Shortly after World War II, they moved their headquarters to Tokyo from where they have been providing papers to all military installations across the Pacific ever since.  Come see where and how they print their newspapers, magazine, and many other products!

ARRIVAL DAY REQUIREMENTS – Hardy Barracks is a US military installation.  Please bring your identification – choose one of the following five choices.

当時に必要なもの – ハーディ兵舎は米軍の施設です。以下の5つのうち、いずれか1つの身分証明書をご持参ください。


US military ID

Passport

Driver’s license + you must know your 8-digit pin

You can get your pin at any local police station before prior to your visit date

Driver’s license + one of these four documents (then no pin required)

Koseki Tohon

Juminhyo with Honseki

Koseki jojinjiko Shomeisho

Koseki zenbujiko Shomeisho

MyNumber card + one of the four documents above

パスポート

運転免許証 + 8桁の暗証番号　暗証番号は、訪問日の前に最寄りの警察署で取得できます。

運転免許証 + 以下の4つの書類のいずれか（この場合、暗証番号は不要です）

戸籍謄本

本籍記載のある住民票

戸籍抄本

戸籍謄本

マイナンバーカード + 上記4つの書類のいずれか1つ
