Advance Your Expertise in Construction Quality Management

Earn the USACE CQM-C credential DoD construction projects require. Join a two-day official Construction Quality Management for Contractors course led by Ms. Victoria Okudera, USACE Japan District. Training is in English and open to SAME contractors, DoD government personnel, and military members. A large group will be trained at this session.

Training Details

Dates: Tuesday–Wednesday, October 20–21, 2026Time: 0830–1700 (both days)Location: Rocker Enlisted Club, Main Ballroom, Kadena Air Base, Okinawa

Instructor: Ms. Victoria Okudera, USACE Japan District

Language: English only

• The Three-Phase Inspection Process

• Developing and Managing Quality Control Plans

• Submittal Management, Safety, and Scheduling with NAS

• Documentation and Testing per ER 1180-1-6

• RMS 3.0 and NAVFAC Electronic Systems

This course is designed to equip participants with the tools and knowledge to ensure excellence, compliance, and efficiency in DoD construction projects.

Certification

Participants will receive a USACE-recognized certificate valid for 5 years upon successful completion. USACE construction contracts require CQM-C trained personnel to be involved.

Eligibility

This training is open to all DoD military, government partners, and DoD contractors. To ensure more availability for all SAME members, each SAME Japan Post corporate membership will be limited to 5 participants.

Participants should also meet the following criteria:

• Have at least 5 years of construction experience

• Serve as a QC Manager, Alternate QC Manager, or need this certificate to meet a current DoD contract requirement

• Be conversant in English

• SAME Japan Post corporate or individual membership will be verified for SAME registrants
