Another Successful CQM-C Training: Growing Our Partnership with USACE Japan and Kadena AB/CQM研修終了:JEDと嘉手納基地とのパートナーシップを強化

We are proud to announce the successful completion of our latest Construction Quality Management for Contractors (CQM-C) Certification Training, held October 20–21, 2026, at the Kadena O Club, Kadena Air Base, Okinawa. This two-day course, conducted in English and once again led by Ms. Victoria Okudera of the USACE Japan District, brought together government, military, and Japanese contractor professionals with one shared goal: quality projects, delivered right the first time.
Key Highlights from the Training
Nearly Double the Reach: We welcomed 62 participants, almost twice the 32 trained in our August 2025 class.
A Rigorous, USACE-Recognized Certification: The CQM-C exam sets a high bar. Participants who pass earn a certificate valid for five years, which qualifies them to serve as QC Managers, Alternate QC Managers, and in other roles that require compliance with DoD construction contracts.
Government and Contractors Side by Side: The 18th CONS briefed the class on October 20 and sent personnel to take the course. The 18th CES and 718th CES supported and participated, giving contractors direct insight from the teams they serve.
Practical Curriculum: The course covered the Three-Phase Inspection Process, Quality Control Plans, submittal management, safety, scheduling, documentation and testing, and hands-on RMS training.

We extend our deepest gratitude to:
Ms. Victoria Okudera, USACE Japan District, for her inspiring instruction.

The Kadena O Club staff and the Kadena Rocker Enlisted Club catering team, for hosting us and taking such good care of everyone.
Every participant, for your enthusiasm and commitment to quality.
Looking Ahead
